I wanted to do a little recording yesterday to see how my sounds work recorded but unfortunately I ran into another problem instead:

I installed all the software on my PC and updated the PODs drivers and everything (following the manual). What I was trying to do is use the PODs USB interface to record cause that seems like the perfect option for me.
I can set the POD as audio-device for recording and for playback (if I want to) in my recording software, but as soon as I try to actually use it with the recording software my PC imediately crashes and does a reboot. This happened with both Cool Edit Pro 2 and Cubase SX

anyone know whats wrong? please?
