I think where I was going with in this thread, guys, is that if that's what I was saying even as recent as 2006, and now I'm totally sold on the very amp I was saying "just wasn't for me," that at some level you have to be open to the fact that your
current opinions on gear are wrong.
I guess where I'm going is at the very worst if you make a habit of assuming everything you know could be wrong when you pick up a new peice of gear, and play with no preconceptions, then at the very least your "opinions" get proved right a lot and your ego gets boosted. And best case scenario you may find something that works even better - I'm happier with a Rectifier than I was with the Nomad, but maybe one day I'll find something I like even more.
