I'm in the market for a bass. I want a 5er. I don't play bass at all. I messed with a few but thats as far as that went. I want to do some home recording, nothing pro, for my own enjoyment. I don't want to invest a ton because bass isn't my thing. What are your thoughts on pups, eletronics, etc... I play mostly metal and I prefer a thin fast neck profile.
