| A Framus Cobra would be a great call for you I think. Very aggressive, but extremely tight and clear as well.
The Dual/Tri Recs are great amps, but need a lot of tweaking to sound good. You'll get alot of people saying they're muddy, loose, and over-compressed, but dialled in just right, they are tight, ballsy, clear and dynamic.
If you can stretch to it, the Diezel VH4 and Herbert are the fucking balls for tight, clear metal tones. Very different flavours, but both most awesome indeed. |
