Yep. We used
Drumagog Drum Replacer Plug-In to replace the snare hits with that metallic hit, just to give it a bit more of a pseudo-industrial feel. This was also recorded with our old drummer, and despite him being a fairly heavy-handed player, his hits weren't crisp and hard enough for our liking.
We're actually thinking of re-recording this for our next album (currently in pre-production) with our new drummer.
