The lazy way... Cut them off as close to the lens as you can get. Pay attention to the orientation of the stock LEDs.



Of course you want to put the new ones in the same way. Just tin the old leads with a bot of solder and tin the new LEDs. Put em on there, heat them with a soldering iron for a few seconds, and BAM! That's it. Cut off the excess leads from the new LEDs.

The other way is to get inside the amp, desolder the old ones, put new ones in, put heatshrink on them, etc... Probably more secure this way but it takes a lot longer and you risk dying while probing around inside the amp.

Another note... Get BRIGHT LEDs!!! You guys have seen my green ones right? They weren't bright enough. I bought some 33,000mcd red ones and those are just right so try to find something right around there.
