What's the price difference between a Blackmore and a SE? I'm thinking they can't reasonably ask him to ship it back to them, if he's the one who brought it to their attention, and it's been a while since I've shipped a head (ok, never

), but shipping a bulky 50-75 pound package isn't cheap - I'd expect $100-150 or so. So, if the Blackmore is only $2-300 shy of a SE, he might be better off just calling them up and explaining the situation, at which point they'll tell him that given the shipping costs, if he's happy with the head it isn't worth fixing, and thanks for letting them know, but just keep it.

Better to do it legit if you can, you know?
